About us
Team MedHebrew — the medical-Hebrew platform for doctors, interns and new immigrants in Israel.
Why we built this
Starting to practise medicine in Israel means learning a second language on the job — one no textbook prepared you for. Ward rounds, patient histories, the phone call at 3 a.m. — all in Hebrew, fast, with lives on the line. For international graduates, interns and new immigrants (olim), that language gap is one of the hardest parts of the journey.
We are Team MedHebrew — people from the world of Israeli medicine who kept seeing the same thing: excellent doctors held back not by their medicine, but by the language around it. So we started building — one term, one guide, one chapter at a time — the resource we wish we'd had.
What you'll find here
Everything in one place, in four languages — Hebrew, English, Russian and Arabic.
A four-language medical dictionary — thousands of terms with transliteration and audio.
Practical guides for the internship (staż) and the MSR advanced-resuscitation course.
The book “Medical Hebrew” — clinical stories, disease mechanisms and terms.
An illustrated anatomy atlas and a psychiatry guide.
Games and drills that make the vocabulary stick.
What guides us
Free where it matters
The dictionary, the guides and Part 1 of the book are free — always.
